No Reasons
Such an awesome song and video! I need to see this movie.
bXc BBQ
Just a little BBQ bXc had. Turned out to be a major success! Loved the people there, great vibes, good memories, and even better memories some of us can’t remember!

Summer is nearing an end.
FUCK. I mean, I am ready to wear steezy hoodies and break out the denim again, but I haven’t exactly had a full summer. Suuure sure, I went to a free Drake concert, EDC and Audiotistic, but come man, that’s like one cool thing a month (although I had the time of my LIFE at all events).
I REALLY wanna do some summer shit soon. Like say, rent beach cruisers and steez around Santa Monica and Venice. I REALLY wanna go to Venice with like 5 rolls of film and take pictures of all the palooza there.
Gonna really plan this… Next massives aren’t until September and October so I got some time right? I NEED A JOB.
How was Audiotistic, you ask?
If you want a quick summary, that would be asking me to degrade it to singular words with no full feeling compared to what I will express in this essay. If that is what you’d like—to describe Audiotistic in words—it was hypnotic, electric, entrancing, exciting, and altogether amazing. There. It was a crazy, fulfilling night that could even be up there with EDC (right?!).
The atmosphere was incredible—it seemed that them making it an 18+ event was a great decision (other than the fact a few people I wanted to go with couldn’t go because of this). People handled their shit, emitted great vibes, danced their asses off, etc etc. I LOVE the fact that you can meet guidos and gangster ass dudes at raves and they’re cool as HELL to you.

The venue—The NOS Center in San Bern—was awesome, aside from the stupid passport ID check. NOS had four stages: Boombox, the main stage, was a giant tent set in between the other three, where headliners like the Bassnectar, Nick Catchdubs, Cudi, Rusko, and Daedalus rocked people’s minds in and out.
The other stages: Speaker Temple, Sound Arcade, and Bass Frequency, were indoor, warehouse-like stages. Aside from the boiling body heat dispensed by tranced dancers, they gave a great feel of the rave scene by endowing massive laser and light shows, body-erupting bass, and an upbeat tone given by the DJ themselves.
To comment on other aspects of the venue, the I-N-I brought jah irie feelings, bathrooms were setup cool even though they were porto-potties, the designated cuddle puddle near the light tunnel gave a good laugh, and I AM SURPRISED NO ONE FLIPPED OUT IN THE POND OMG. Definitely wanting to go to Nocturnal just for the fact the venue will be at NOS as well.

The music… Lawdamercy, THE MUSIC. First off, I’d like to take a moment to appreciate the beauty of going to music festivals of any kind, be it a EDM, rock, or hip hop festival, is finding out about new artists/genres of music through something YOU found out first—in your world. Not told by another friend or found through a forum, you stumbled upon a gem among the coal.
Why I say that is, half of the sets I watched were artists I didn’t know of. I’d either hear a song that was on the Nick Catchdubs Mix or just something that made me move and I ran in. However, the sets I did recognize, including Talib, Cudi, Rusko, A-trak, AC Slater, Daedalus, and a few others, I did thoroughly enjoy.
I was surprised at the fact I was even getting into the DnB. Watching and doing the Punk scene’s skank-like dance was dope. Although AC had me shuffling like an energizer bunny and Rusko had me bouncing all around the Boom Box, Treasure Fingers was my favorite, as well as last set. I won’t even get into that as it will take up another paragraph.

That’s my summary of Audiotistic 2010! Amazing night and I’m quite sure I’m ready for Nocturnal 2010. PLURR LOLOL
great video, amazing song
I’m obsessed with Treasure Fingers after last night’s set
Will more than likely post a full summary of my night at Audiotistic soon
